QUESTION, ANSWERS AND FACTS

We are providing this Blog to help you find answers and facts to some of the questions we handle.

1. Question: How many people do you handle daily?

Answer: Since opening this site on average we handle over 1800 new searches daily and approximately 400 returning searches.

2. Question: Why are your prices and shipping, handling so expensive?

Answer: In response to your request to lower your cost, we have lowered our prices and shipping across the board,

as low as our suppliers will allow. We also feature free shipping on all shipments over $100.00. Please see our blog

on shipping and prices.

3. Question: Do you have earrings to match your necklaces?

Answer: In response to your request to have matching earrings to our necklaces. They are now available in gold and

silver with backs and reasonably priced.

4. Question: Why are you not featured on any social media platforms when the buttons are listed on your site?

Answer: We have a very good blog concerning that please check it out.

5. Question: Can I hear or see Michael Presley before I buy?

Answer: This is a management decision that Michael Presley has had to struggle with being at heart a gregarious

person like his father. In simple form the answer is NO! Why? From Managements stand point this is good policy.

Management believes that the proprietary and marketable aspects of Michael are his story, his appearance, his voice

and his show. Any activity that allows wholesale release of those items are detrimental in their the Management,

Promoters and Investors best interest, not to mention Mr. Michael Presley's best interest who they are all responsible

for. If we allow unpaid wholesale release of music, photographs then these will be shared with everyone providing no

need to purchase. We understand this is not the way artists were promoted in eons past however we think you will

understand today is not yesterday, it is now and things have changed and so we have also changed. Records once

released to general public for sale and to radio formats already, (sold and run albums) will be available on any one of

the Music Formats selected by management on a pay for play, view. This policy will also apply to photographic

releases. Once the World Tour has started we will be releasing just as fast as we can on all formats and platforms

these items for purchase which always will be available at the Concert Merchandise Tables and Vendors for

purchase.

6. Question: What are the Ornaments composed of Crystal or Glass?

Answer: When we researched this topic, we got an education. One that our shoppers, fans and shoppers at large

needs as well. We then reached out to what has been the experts of all thing’s Crystal “Princess House”,

“Waterford”, and “Cristaux” for the answers.

First off, the experts said no expert of Crystal would ever attempt to evaluate the question of is a piece, Crystal or

glass by a picture. “You cannot grade the value or quality of a piece or its composition by a picture”. There was not

much information available from our source and supplier other than they are made of high-quality Crystal Glass cut,

ground, polished then Laser Engraved with our Logos.

The word or moniker “Crystal” originated from the Italian term “Cristallo”. This term was used to describe imitations of

Murano Glass a highly prized, hand blown glassware from a island near Venice. The experts continue “Glass is a

generic name, while Crystal is actually a subcategory of glass made in the same manner as glass but with different

materials. Therefore, all Crystal is glass but not all glass is Crystal”. It’s all in the perspective. Also we must note that

Crystal or Crystal Glass as it is known in the United States does not have a crystalline structure like say “quartz” but it

is a name that sounds better than Lead Crystal Glass that has a menacing sound with the use of the word lead and

all its associated dangers. Still the rule is Crystal is a type of glass that contains lead. There is also a form called lead

free Crystal Glass usually used to make lens for microscopes. Outside the United States, in the United Kingdom and

around the world a glass product must contain at least 24 percent mineral content and 76% silica oxide or more

commonly called sand. The percentage of mineral matters and will affect the strength of the Crystal. However, in the

US, there is little regulation associated with Crystal Glass and a product can have 1 to 30 percent lead or minerals

that give the same properties as lead. Which means if you are shopping for Crystal in Europe, you might get

something different than if you shop for the same thing in the US. At Cristaux they pointed out their Crystal or Crystal

Glass contains 24 percent lead and Waterford countered with their products contain 32 percent lead.

So being informed now where does that lead us. It must be noted that the items were not destroyed to do a lab

chemical analysis, nor do we really need to go that far for a purchase fairly priced at $22.99.

That being said, here are the results from our expert’s physical exam of the products in question.

Appearances: Glass tends to have an opaque appearance or in the case with soda lime glass a little foggy when you

hold it up to light but the higher quality Crystal has a beautiful clear appearance. This makes it ideal for ornaments.

Crystal has a pale blue tint, silvery or crystal-clear transparent appearance. The lead content of Crystal or Crystal

Glass means that it refracts the light. The index of refraction measures the amount that a material bends light. It is

the lead oxide content that gives Crystal its luster and transparency.

Conclusion on Appearance: Our products pass the experts opinion for Crystal Glass appearing crystal clear in both

products refracting light nicely and with a pale blue tint to the heart ornament.

Weight: Ordinary glass weighs lighter than Crystal Glass because of the lead in its composition of Crystal Glass it

weighs heavier.

Conclusion on Weight: Our products pass the experts opinion for Crystal Glass appearing to weigh heaver then

regular glass. Its interesting to note the heart ornament weighs heaver then the star ornament and therefore may

contain more lead however we are not sure.

Cut: Crystal is softer than glass which allows it to be cut, ground, buffed, and polished. Glass is more brittle not

allowing for cutting, grinding, and buffing. Glass with faceted designs is usually achieved in the molding process.

Conclusion on the Cut: Our products pass the experts opinion for Crystal Glass cutting, grinding, polished and buffed.

Our products show clear rounded edges on the Heart and ground edges on the Star all characteristic of Crystal.

Final Conclusion: Both products are beautiful Crystal Glass ground, cut, polished, and finished with a clear Laser

Engraved Logo. The lead content is probably higher in the Heart and lower in the Star but both are Crystal Glass.

7. Question: When is the book being released, what is the name of the book, who is it written by, how much is it, what formats will it be released as?

Answer: The Book is called "In My Father's Footsteps" by Michael Presley son of Elvis. It will be released just as soon

as the publisher gives us a release or published date. At that time the publisher will also release the price. Price for

the special, extended, unabridged leather bound collectors edition will be expensive.

 14. Question: Do you post fake positive or negative reviews?

Answer: FAKE OR REAL REVIEWS AND OUR POLICY

We recently opened our web site and immediately was the target of “FAKE REVIEWS”. This is not usual as almost all

companies are bombarded at one time or another with Fake Positive and Negative Reviews. We are sure these

individuals who posted theses reviews are misguided and misinformed. We would like to think they were not

malicious, however with the aid of the Federal Trade Commission that handles these things we have discovered they

are suspicious and malicious in their intent and source. These reviews were all posted by an individual or individuals

with no emails, no names or fake names giving us absolutely no way of contacting them to address their concerns or

issues. None of the reviewers were actual verified buyers and none were found in our rapidly growing customer data

bank. All the reviews in question contained negative comments and reviews about our products or our company.

When we removed the reviews a couple individuals contacted one of our reps in training on our newly activated Chat

Program to ask why the reviews were removed. One of these individuals going so far as to say “Where did all the

fake reviews go? Don’t worry I screen shot all of mine”, being so bold as to admit they had posted the negative

reviews to damage our reputation and the reputation of our signature entertainers. This was proof positive these

reviews are malicious. This is so unfair to us but more importantly to our customers and fans. All the questionable

reviews were removed and placed in to pending status to prepare for forwarding to the FTC.

So, what does the Federal Trade Commission have to say about this.

Section 5 of the FTC Act 15 U.S. Code § 45 makes it very clear that any fake testimonials are illegal. Both positive

and negative Fake Reviews are illegal. The FTC considers your review to be fake if it is not based on the experience

of a real customer, verified buyer, and a customer in a company’s data bank. A fake review is seen as deceptive

advertising as it may mislead the customer, discouraging or encouraging them to purchase or not to purchase a

product or use a service under false pretenses based on these fake reviews. To reiterate the positive or in this case

the negative review must be made by a real customer purchasing the product reviewed and based on a real

experience with our company and products.

If you are caught, every single one of your violations are subject to a $10,000 fine. With the risk of incurring legal

costs, damages, and hefty fines, faking website or online negative or for that matter positive reviews are potentially a

very expensive mistake to make.

What can we as a Company do to protect ourselves, clients and customers or reviewers from inappropriate or

irrelevant content and reviews?

The law says it is OK to prohibit or remove a review that:

1.contains confidential or private information – for example, a person’s financial, medical, or personnel file information

or a company’s trade secrets.

2.is libelous, harassing, abusive, obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, or is inappropriate with respect to race, gender,

sexuality, ethnicity, or other intrinsic characteristic.

3.is unrelated to the company’s products or services; or

4.is clearly false or misleading.

Proactively we will be doing the following to protect our fan and customer base from Fake Reviews.

  • 1.We will check the suspect reviewer’s profile to determine the authenticity of the reviewer. Verifying information from the reviewers Facebook, Twitter, and other sources made available to us. We will also be checking location, account creation date, review activity, work information, and social accounts. Those flagged will be examined and approved or kept in pending and forwarded to the FTC.
  • 2.We will check for specifics in the review. If the reviewer does not make use of specific examples, doesn’t seem to be very knowledgeable about the product or service, and doesn’t say how they used it or what the actual customer experience was like, then they will be flagged for further attention to determine if the review is fake or not.
  • 3.We as a company will not condone Astroturfing.
  • 4.We will only accept positive or negative reviews from verified buyers who are a part of our customer data bank.
  • 5.We encourage reviews from verified buyers however if you are not a verified buyer or are person not in our data base and have feelings or comments you want us to consider then please contact us through our contact page, by email directly to shadowmuntainproductions@gmail.com, or by flagged ticket response and if those comments or feelings are in good faith we will consider them to make appropriate changes in our company policy posting the changes on our Blogs.
  • We want to hear from you, and we consider important credible comments important to us.
